Category Manager

Oxford (Mostly remote)

2-month contract

£450 - £500 per day (Umbrella)

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our clients with the recruitment of a Category Manager on an initial 2 month basis.

This position offers mostly remote working, however attendance is required in the office a few times a month for face to face meetings.

Responsibilities:

Deliver effective and consistent services and ensure that products and services purchased from suppliers represent value for money.

Work closely with Commissioners, Service Leads and other members of the Category Team to ensure that the products and services purchased within their Level 1 category represent value for money.

Work with Category Officers and Assistants to deliver agreed procurement and contract management activities.

Drive continuous improvement.

Build working relationships with other stakeholders and communicate effectively.

Requirements:

Procurement experience within the Public Sector is essential.

Category management experience with Environmental Services would be beneficial.

Knowledge of Procurement Act 2023.

End to End contract management experience.
