Locum Clinical Pharmacist - NHS Hospital, Midlands

Contract: Ongoing
Availability: 3/4/5 days per week
Hourly Rate: £28 - £33 per hour

Hunter AHP is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a leading NHS hospital in the Midlands on a locum basis. This ongoing contract offers flexibility in your working days, with the chance to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to hospital wards, ensuring optimal drug therapy for patients
• Conduct medication reviews and support the clinical team with drug-related decision-making
• Work closely with medical staff and patients to promote safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication use
• Ensure compliance with NHS protocols and safety standards
• Manage the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions
• Offer clinical advice and support to hospital staff, promoting best practices in medication management

Requirements:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Previous ward-based experience is essential
• Strong communication and team-working skills
• Experience in clinical pharmacy and medication reviews
• Available to work 3, 4, or 5 days per week
• NHS experience is preferred but not mandatory
