TeacherActive is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 4 Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic primary school in Derby. The successful candidate will have a passion and enthusiasm for helping young children flourish in the classroom. You will also make sure that the children are supported with their learning and engaged with the lessons.

The successful Year 4 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience working with children (Key Stage 2)
• A passion and enthusiasm for supporting children in education
• The ability to be proactive in delivering interventions to small groups
• Patience, empathy and strong communication skills
• Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
• A calm, patient, and caring personality
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis
