SLH Consult are partnering our client a national refurbishment contractor who are looking to appoint a freelance Quantity Surveyor due to continued business growth.

Typically the business focuses within the area of local authority framework contracts, including kitchen & bathrooms, reactive maintenance & fire door installation and improvements across a multitude of clients and local authorities.

The successful candidate will be instrumental servicing existing framework contracts and with the tender process and submission of pre project pricing.

You must be able to possess and demonstrate previous experience gained from within the refurbishment/reactive maintenance sector as well as the following:

• Ben able to accurately price and submit estimates on time.
• Be able to resolve pricing queries and issues with clients.
• Be able to manage existing subcontractors and when required identify new subcontractors.
• Liaise with internal management team to ensuring critical project information is obtained
• Administer contracts
• Prepare CRVs
• Be fluent with all internal cost/commercial systems and EXCEL.
• Have minimum 4+ years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within the relevant sector
