About Us:

We are working with a number of schools within Barking and Dagenham that are looking for Supply Teaching Assistants. The schools are looking for a proactive and experienced Supply Teaching Assistant to support SEN pupil, with specific needs. The successful individual will need experience in supporting pupils with SEND and have a calm persona.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the class teacher where required.
• Support SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.
• Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience: Previous experience working in a Primary School
• Knowledge: Understanding of SEN
