Job Description

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Spanish Teacher to join a thriving secondary school on the Wirral. This is a long-term maternity cover position, starting in April 2025 and continuing until January 2026.

The Role:

• Teaching Spanish to students aged 11 to 18
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the curriculum
• Assessing and supporting student progress
• Contributing to the wider school community

The Candidate:

• A qualified Spanish teacher (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level (KS3 to KS5 desirable)
• A strong commitment to student learning and progress
• Excellent classroom management skills

The successful Spanish Teacher will be joining our client secondary school where pupils and staff look out for and support each other. Students have positive and mature relationships with each other and with staff. Staff are said to have consistently high expectations of pupils and students are said to have a good attitude towards their learning.
