HGV Class 1 Driver (3.5T/7.5T Van) – Wisbech

We are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a long-term project based in Murrow, Wisbech (PE13 4HH). Although a Class 1 licence is required, the role involves driving 3.5-tonne and 7.5-tonne vans.

Job Details:

* Start Date: ASAP

* Duration: 6 months

* Working Hours: 08:00 – 18:00

* Rate of Pay: Competitive

Requirements:

* Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a valid driver card

* Good driving record with no major violations or accidents

* Excellent communication skills

* Physically fit and able to handle heavy loads

* Flexibility to work weekends and extra hours if required

Responsibilities:

* Safely operate a 3.5T/7.5T van to transport goods between locations

* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

* Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies

* Secure goods properly and handle them with care

* Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups

* Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and colleagues
