We are currently seeking a Service Charge Officer on a temporary basis to support a well-respected Housing Association in London. This role is ideal for someone with experience handling service charge enquiries who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

As a Service Charge Officer, you will be responsible for managing resident and stakeholder queries, ensuring clarity and accuracy in service charge calculations while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Handling incoming enquiries related to service charges and providing clear explanations

✅ Investigating discrepancies and liaising with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently

✅ Supporting the preparation and reconciliation of service charge budgets and statements

✅ Ensuring compliance with service charge regulations and housing policies

✅ Assisting in process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 Previous experience in a service charge, finance, or housing management role

🔹 Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain complex financial details clearly

🔹 Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple queries effectively

🔹 Knowledge of service charge regulations and housing legislation (desirable)

🔹 Familiarity with housing or finance systems such as Northgate, QL, or similar (preferred)
