Job Description

A global medical device company are looking for a Senior Engineer to join their Research and Development team on a contract basis. The role is primarily to lead the documentation for existing and new projects. Risk management and DHF experience are essential to the role. In the role you will need to lead sessions, workshops, pull team members together, be aware of gaps and be aware of design standards. This is a senior role and you will be expected to take leadership for your responsibilities. This is an opportunity to be involved in the full lifecycle of the product, as well as design and development of an innovative product to meet unmet patient needs.

Essential skills:

QMS / Design History File (DHF) documentation

Risk Management

Lead Documentation

Experience in the design and development of medical devices.

Experience leading and driving a team to hit project milestones

Experience working with Design History File (DHF) documentation

Desirable skills:

Documentation software, e.g. Cognition Cockpit

Knowledge of combination products

Class III medical devices experience

The start date is for ASAP. The initial contract length is for 12 months, with options to extend after. The role is based in Limerick and will require 1 days onsite per week, the rest of the time you can work remotely. The rate is €50-55 per hour, depending on experience, if you have any expenses please let me know and I can factor that into the rate for you.
