Job Type: Full-Time (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 30-Minute Break)

Start Date: February/March 2025

We are currently seeking an experienced Dispensary-Based Pharmacist to join a leading NHS Hospital pharmacy team local to Birmingham. This exciting opportunity is for a Band 6/7 Dispensary Pharmacist, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospital pharmacy, particularly within dispensary settings. The role involves the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that all medications are dispensed accurately and in line with hospital protocols.

• Dispensing and preparing medications in a hospital dispensary setting.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Providing expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and appropriate dosing.
• Collaborating with the clinical pharmacy team to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Managing stock control and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
• Leading and supporting junior pharmacy staff when required.

• Experience: Hospital-based experience is required, with a strong focus on dispensary work.
• Qualification: Registered Pharmacist with relevant qualifications.
• Band: This position is offered at Band 6/7.
• Availability: Available to start in February/March 2025.

£24 - £30 per hour (Depending on experience)

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break.
