Full-Time Teaching Assistant - Key Stage 1

Location: North Chesterfield

Start Date: 24th April 2025

Contract: Fixed Term Until December 2025 (Potential Extension)

A small primary school in North Chesterfield, rated 'Good' by Ofsted in 2023, is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 1 pupils, particularly in phonics and maths for children who are tracking behind expected progress.

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting small groups of KS1 pupils in phonics and maths interventions

Working closely with class teachers to help bridge learning gaps

Encouraging a positive and engaging learning environmentRequirements:

Previous experience supporting Key Stage 1 children

A kind and nurturing approach to learning

A TA qualification is beneficial but not essentialThis is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) starting on 24th April 2025 and fixed-term until December 2025, with the possibility of extension.
