Learning Support Assistant – The Role: 

Year 5 Learning Support Assistant

Supporting a student with behavioural needs

Ensure their academic and wellbeing needs are supported

Work cohesively with an experienced class teacher

Involves working in a classroom and in other areas of the school

Learning Support Assistant – Qualifications & skills required: 

Previous experience working with children

Level 3 or degree level of education is desirable

Prior classroom / education experience is desirable

Team teach training is preferable

Excellent communication skills 

Proactive and professional manner
