Job Role:

As the Environmental Adviser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our wind farm projects are environmentally responsible and compliant with all regulations. You will be responsible for advising and guiding the project teams on environmental matters throughout the planning, development, and operational phases of the projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide expert environmental advice and support on wind farm developments.

* Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and sustainability practices.

* Conduct environmental impact assessments and mitigation planning.

* Monitor and assess environmental performance across multiple sites.

* Liaise with environmental agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

* Assist in the preparation and submission of environmental reports and documents.

* Identify potential environmental risks and work with the team to implement mitigation strategies.

* Help develop environmental management systems to improve sustainability efforts.

Requirements:

* Relevant degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

* Proven experience in an environmental advisory role, preferably within the renewable energy sector (wind farm experience is a plus).

* Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices, particularly in relation to wind energy projects.

* Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project objectives and deadlines.

* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex environmental challenges.
