Job title: Commissioning System Lead

Our Client a Global Engineering company are seeking a Commissioning System Lead for a contract position of 6 months in Reading. Client is a world leader within many industries. This role is placed within nuclear or other highly regulated industries.

Role

As a Commissioning System Lead you will lead an existing team on site. You will have experience in providing technical review and sign-off on required commissioning documentation, reviewing all Ready for Commissioning (RFC) documentation to ensure a safe transition from construction to commissioning and system phase, and reviewing, amending, and approving commissioning procedures.

Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a strong background in Building Management Systems (BMS) and Instrumentation, preferably with a Controls & Instrument background. The ideal candidate will take ownership of blockers and utilize effective problem-solving skills to resolve issues promptly.

Will be responsible for the system delivery program, conducting regular reviews and updates to ensure the timely achievement of all commissioning milestones.

Experience & Qualifications

*Relevant Engineering Qualification: Degree, ONC, HNC, HND, or equivalent experience.

*Commissioning Expertise: Extensive knowledge and experience in commissioning within a multi-discipline, safety-critical environment.

*Industry Experience: Experience in nuclear or other highly regulated industries.

*Health & Safety Awareness: Excellent awareness of health and safety practices.

*CSCS Card: Essential requirement.

*Security Clearance: Ability to attain SC Clearance.
