A leading London-based architectural studio is seeking an experienced Technical Project or Package Lead to join on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in the aviation sector, capable of leading technical design and coordination for large-scale projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivering technical design packages within a major aviation project. Working closely with architects, engineers, and consultants, you will ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory, safety, and operational requirements while maintaining high design and construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate technical design packages for aviation projects.

Ensure all designs meet airport regulations, safety standards, and UK building codes.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and external consultants.

Oversee Revit-based technical drawing production and maintain quality control.

Resolve complex detailing and construction methodology challenges.

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and coordination with key stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience delivering technical packages for large-scale aviation projects.

Strong Revit skills and experience with BIM workflows.

Comprehensive understanding of UK building regulations and aviation-specific design standards.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead and coordinate teams.

Contract administration experience is desirable.
