Job Title: Powder Coater (Temp to Perm)

Location: Birmingham

Salary: 13 per hour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, shift pattern can work between 7:30am and 7:00pm (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Powder Coater to join our team in Birmingham. This is a temp to perm role, offering a competitive hourly rate of 13. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying powder coatings to various metal products, ensuring a high-quality finish and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Operate powder coating equipment to apply coatings evenly and efficiently.
• Monitor and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal application.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in powder coating or a similar role is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work within the shift pattern (7:30am to 7:00pm).
