Freelance Externals Manager
Location: London & South East
Rate: 270 - 320 DOE
Duration: 6-12 months, with potential for extension

Client Overview:
Our client is a leading developer with a distinguished reputation for delivering high-quality residential projects across London. Renowned for their commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, they are at the forefront of shaping vibrant and sustainable communities.

A landmark regeneration project has recently commenced in South East London. This 300m development will transform the area, creating over 700 modern, high-quality homes as part of a long-term vision to revitalize the neighborhood.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Freelance Externals Manager to play a key role in the successful delivery of this transformative scheme.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Freelance Externals Manager to oversee external works on this prestigious construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing concrete frame, civils works, deep drainage, and the installation of services, ensuring quality and compliance across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage external works from inception to completion, including concrete frame, civils works, deep drainage, and services installation.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely delivery.
• Monitor project progress and budgets to ensure timely and high-quality completion.
• Attend meetings and liaise with project managers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing external works on commercial or residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and regulations.
• Expertise in concrete frame, civils works, deep drainage, and installing services.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers effectively.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Relevant qualifications (SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid, or equivalent).
• Experience with fa ade systems, roofing, external cladding, and drainage systems is preferred.
