Job Description

Shorterm group are currently working with an international airlines MRO facility which is based at Glasgow airport.

They are looking to take on an Environmental advisor to ensure compliance within the facility.

Ideal candidate:

IEMA foundation certificate (or equivalent)

Environmental degree

Responsibilities:

Maintaining all aspects of the environmental management system and facility compliance through audits and investigations.

Assuring compliance through audits and investigations.

Using guidance provided to check everything is being done as it should be e.g.. noise, waste, chemical disposure, pest management.

Provide detailed analysis of date to enable development of business environmental strategies.

review and prioritise all reactive work requests to maintain optimum business performance.

Investigates or accidents that happen e.g. chemical spills.

The ideal candidate should be flexible and reactive to business needs.

location: Glasgow airport

Shift Monday - Friday flexible hours.

£23.08ph PAYE

6 month contract with potential to turn into a permanent position (if successful on application).
