Our primary schools in Epping are seeking a dedicated individual for the 1:1 SEN Support position, starting immediately. As a 1:1 SEN Support assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored assistance to pupils, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised support to pupils with special educational needs, facilitating their access to the curriculum.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to plan and deliver individualised learning activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Monitor and report on the pupil's progress, adapting support strategies as necessary.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar 1:1 SEN Support role is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of various special educational needs and effective support strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
