Job Description

An Interim SENCo is required as part of the Senior Leaderhip Team by a Special School based on the outskirts of Guildford, Surrey.

This is a temporary position to start as soon as possible and will run through to the end of the academic year whilst the school appoints the substantive role.

The school is committed to providing exceptional education and support to pupils and is looking for an inspiring, dedicated, and passionate SENCo who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding environment to join them as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

As SENCo, you will be at the heart of the school's mission to provide outstanding support for pupils with SEMH needs, ensuring that they have the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to create an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

This role welcomes a proactive and empathetic leader to inspire and support staff, students, and parents with a commitment to ongoing professional development and making a positive impact on pupil outcomes.
