General Cover Teacher Adhoc Basis (Secondary Schools, Leicestershire)

Location: Secondary Schools Across Leicestershire
Position: Adhoc, Full-time or Part-time Available
Pay: £150 - £180 per day (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable General Cover Teachers to work on an adhoc basis across secondary schools in Leicestershire. Whether you re looking for full-time hours or prefer part-time flexibility, we have a variety of opportunities to suit your schedule.

As a General Cover Teacher, you will step in for regular teachers across different subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive and engaging classroom environment. This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and the challenge of teaching different subjects at various secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide cover for absent teachers across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive, supportive environment
• Follow lesson plans and ensure students remain on track with their learning
• Support students with any specific needs, where required
• Adapt teaching styles to suit different year groups and subjects

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt quickly to different classroom settings
• A passion for teaching and engaging with students of all abilities
• Experience in secondary education is desirable, but not essential
