Job Description

We are pleased to be recruiting a Factory Operative for our client based in Sheffield.

This is a temporary to permanent position working Monday to Friday.

The hours of work are 6am to 2pm with paid breaks and overtime available.

The hourly rate starts at £12per hr plus overtime at time and a quarter. The hourly rate increases as training is completed and skill increases. This is subject to internal assessment.

The role will involve handling raw materials using MHE so a Fork Lift Licence is desirable but not essential.

There will be training on a variety of metal forming machines so any previous experience will be an advantage.

The environment is indoors but with open roller doors, so warm in summer and cool in winter.

Heavy lifting is involved as well as standing for extended periods.

A good level of literacy is required to read written instructions and also to complete process paperwork.
