Position Title: SW System Test Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury European EV Manufacturer based in Gothemburg, Sweden who are seeking a SW System Test Engineer to join their team.

Description of the assignment

Complete Electrical Verification team is responsible for Electrical Integration, OTA, Base Technology and Vehicle Mode Management testing.

Our Client is now looking for another experienced SW test engineer to secure Basetech concepts and OTA E2E functionality in current and upcoming EU/US introductions for the Client.

To be successful in this assignment our Client expects you to:

Document and communicate root cause and/or relevant information on problems identified to responsible design area.

Plan, prepare and execute test events together with internal and external stakeholders

Support test specification development

Support with fault tracing in vehicles and test rigs

Log files analysis

Provide concept support internally and to suppliers

Qualifications and skills required for the role

Good knowledge of in vehicle electrical systems in general.

Experience of OTA solution and full OTA function (cloud, vehicle and app).

Deep knowledge in communication protocols (e.g. CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, Ethernet, LVDS, LIN)

Deep knowledge in SecOC and Service 29

B.Sc. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or equivalent area.

Test automation knowledge.

Experience from Volvo Cars Electrical Platform or CEVT CMA/GEEA2/ZEEAx platform is an advantage

Deep experience in test tools such as CANoe, CAPL script, DSA, Wireshark, Python programming

Knowledge of Unified diagnostic services (UDS) - ISO 14229

Knowledge of Diagnostic communication over Internet Protocol (DoIP) - ISO 13400

Familiar with hands on test experience in vehicle

Car driving license and T1/T2 test driving license Hällered

Personal attributes

Excellent skills in co-operation, teamwork and networking.
