Achieving for Children is based over several locations (Kingston, Richmond and Windsor and Maidenhead) and in this role there will be an expectation that you travel to all our localities.

Working from home is by exception due to the nature of therole.

Responsible for ensuring that strategies and plans are in place to achieve compliance with health &safety best practice and regulations across all AfC locations.

Will work to support and train officers with facilities management responsibility to discharge their roles effectively and will monitor report compliance across the organisation.

Manage external premises / health & safety arrangements including building leases and commissioned support.

Proactively and reactively manage health and safety issues and the Safety and Premises Management Officer.

Qualifications

● Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline and/or aprofessional qualification or equivalent level of experience.

● Valid Drivers Licence Skills and experience

● Experience in leading a team,undertaking linemanagement, performance management and change management.

● Experience of building and maintaining strong working relationships and co-producing solutions to challenges across a diverse set of stakeholders

● Ability to design frameworks and policies to ensure a consistent and compliant approachto premises related issues
