Job Title: Project Planner – Shipbuilding

Location: Ha Long Bay, Vietnam (must relocate)

Contract Type: 12 month rolling

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Planner with a strong background in shipbuilding to join our team on a one-year contract in Vietnam. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading shipbuilding company on large-scale maritime projects, ensuring schedules, resources, and project goals are effectively managed and delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and update project schedules in accordance with contract requirements.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production teams to ensure project milestones are met.

Identify potential scheduling risks and implement mitigation strategies.

*

Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.

*

Utilize project planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) to track progress and performance.

*

Support the coordination of shipbuilding activities, ensuring alignment with client specifications and timelines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Planner within the shipbuilding industry.

*

Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

*

Strong understanding of shipbuilding processes, timelines, and resource management.

*

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, international environment.

*

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

*

Willingness to be based in Vietnam for the duration of the contract.
