Learning Support Assistant (Primary School)

Location: Wellingborough

Salary: £85-£100 per day

Hours: Full-Time (Term Time Only)

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Start Date: Interviewing as soon as possible

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to provide targeted support for individual pupils and small groups. You will play a vital role in creating an engaging and inclusive environment, helping all children to access the curriculum and build their confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

Work one-to-one or with small groups of pupils to provide additional learning support.

Assist children with their individual learning plans, ensuring their needs are met.

Encourage positive behaviour and foster a love of learning.

Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources.

Provide feedback to teachers on pupil progress and areas for development.We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about supporting children's education and development.

Caring, patient, and understanding, with excellent interpersonal skills.

Enthusiastic about working as part of a team in a primary school environment.

Willing to learn and develop their skills to support children effectively.Desirable (but not essential):

Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.

Knowledge of supporting children with additional needs, including SEN.

Relevant qualifications, such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
