Are you passionate about educating young minds and shaping the future generation? Look no further! We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a school in Hollywood, Birmingham on a full-time basis. You will be required to teach across KS2, planning and delivering engaging lessons. This position is due to start in March 2025 and is ongoing till the end of the academic year.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress.
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher meetings as required.
- Uphold professional standards and behaviour both in and out of the classroom.
You must hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have relevant experience teaching KS2 curriculum. You must be dedicated to achieving academic success and also be willing to obtain an enhanced DBS if you don't already hold one.
