Job Title: Histology Associate Practitioner Band 4

Location: East London

Duration: 3-month rolling contract

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: £14 - 16 per hour DOE (umbrella equivalent)

What You’ll Be Doing: Join our team as an Associate Practitioner and contribute to providing excellent diagnostic services. In this role, you will:

Assist with sample collection, processing, and preparation for diagnostic testing

Conduct routine laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis

Microtomy

Work closely with senior practitioners to maintain high standards of laboratory procedures

Support in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with all regulations

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality service delivery

Requirements & Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

Strong Histology experience 

Experience in microtomy

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A commitment to delivering high-quality laboratory services

Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)

Working Hours & Contract Duration: This role requires availability from Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, with some flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a rolling renewal, subject to performance and service needs.
