CMA are partnering with a well-established property group seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to support their finance function during a crucial period. This 6-month contract offers the opportunity to lead statutory reporting, manage the audit process, and oversee a small finance team.

What will the Financial Accountant role involve:

• Prepare financial statements in line with UK GAAP/IFRS and oversee year-end processes.
• Act as the key point of contact for external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
• Oversee and support a team of two finance professionals, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Financial Accountant vacancy:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in financial reporting and audit management.
• Proven experience producing statutory accounts and working with auditors.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP/IFRS and regulatory compliance.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and manage a small team.
• Property sector experience is advantageous but not essential.
