Job Opportunity: BMS Mechanical / Electrical Engineer - London Borough of Islington

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (35 hours per week)

Pay Rate:
315.00 per day (umbrella)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled BMS Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to join a project with the London Borough of Islington. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS), with a specific focus on commercial and communal heating systems. You will be responsible for managing and optimising existing BMS platforms, as well as designing and implementing strategies to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimise BMS strategies for communal heating systems.
• Manage and maintain existing BMS platforms, generating daily BMS management reports.
• Lead projects related to low-carbon mechanical installations and heat networks.
• Write and present detailed technical reports.
• Ensure successful project management, delivering projects on time and within agreed budgets.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong technical expertise in BMS and Engineering Control Systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing commercial and communal heating systems.
• Ability to manage BMS platforms and generate management reports.
• Strong understanding of heat networks and low-carbon energy solutions.
• Excellent project management and contract administration skills.
