Approved Workforce are recruiting a Setting out Engineer in Salford.

You will require your own equipment

Duties

• Manage and supervise construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress to monitor adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
• Liaise with project managers and other engineers to discuss project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Prepare reports on project status, including any delays or challenges encountered during the construction process.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Implement effective health and safety measures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical drawings and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site staff as needed.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and components is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for liaising with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in using engineering software and tools relevant to site management.
• A valid driving licence may be required for site visits.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
