Hours - Mon-Thu (6pm-6am)

Pay - 18ph

Location - Central Birmingham

Contract - Temp to Perm

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Stainless and Aluminium TIG Welding, with the ability to This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to assemble components accurately, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminium metals.
• Assemble and fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Demonstrate basic maths skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in TIG welding; familiarity with stick welding is an advantage.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience working with sheet metal is essential.
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
