Job Title: Band 5 Nurse (Acute Ward)

Location: Morden & Sutton (Easily Accessible by Public Transport)

Duration: Ongoing Flexible Adhoc Shifts

Schedule:

Early Shift: 07:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Late Shift: 2:00 PM – 8:15 PM

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

End Date: Ongoing

Rate of Pay: £24 per hour (via Umbrella)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Band 5 Nurse and play a key role in providing high-quality care in an acute ward setting. In this role, you will:

Perform patient assessments and implement treatment plans

Administer medications and provide essential nursing care

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and effective patient care environment

Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in line with clinical and organisational policies

Support and guide healthcare assistants and junior staff as needed

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current and valid NMC registration (Band 5 Registered Nurse - RN)

Previous experience in acute ward settings (preferred but not essential)

An enhanced DBS check and updated immunisations

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers flexible working hours, allowing you to choose shifts that suit your schedule. The contract is ongoing, providing a great opportunity to gain experience in a high-demand acute care setting.
