Group Financial Accountant
10 Month contract
Up to 425 per day via umbrella (inside IR35)
Bristol Based - 2 days in the office

Immediate start required (within 2-3 weeks)

A large, global organisation require an Interim Group Financial Accountant to support their finance function during a critical period.

You'll be joining an efficient and well-run finance team which manage group consolidation, ensure accurate reporting, and liaises with other global finance teams.

This role allows hybrid working (2 days in the Bristol office - BS3), will initially run until EoY 25 and has the potential to extend / go permanent.

Interviews are taking place on Monday with an expected start date between 24/02 - 03/03.

Key areas of knowledge / experience required for this role are:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS
• Experience with group consolidations
• Held a group financial accountant type role within a large organisation

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee monthly group consolidation and financial reporting
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and intangibles accounting
• Ensure accurate submissions from global finance teams
• Monitor exchange translation reserves and restructuring costs
• Prepare financial reports for senior leadership and audit committees
• Provide technical accounting guidance
• Support external audits and ad hoc financial tasks
