Role: Confined Space Maintenance Operative

Location: Birmingham

Contract: Temporary (Long Term)

Our client, with over 40 years of industry experience, provides expert nitrogen, maintenance, and cleaning services to utilities and engineering companies across the UK. Their maintenance division supports the water industry with services ranging from building digester roofs and PV valve servicing to pipework repairs and general maintenance. Additionally, their industrial cleaning division specializes in screen hire and cleaning digesters for the water industry.

They are seeking enthusiastic, hard-working individuals to join their team on a temporary basis.

Working away from home on a regular basis is an essential requirement of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tank and vessel cleaning (confined space work)
• High-pressure water jetting
• General site labour and equipment operation
• Adhering to Health & Safety protocols

Qualifications and Requirements:

Essential:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS Card (minimum Labourer level)
• Confined Spaces Certification

Desirable:

• HGV Class 1/2
• CPCS/NPORS Tickets
• SSSTS Certification
• First Aid at Work Certification
• Additional site-related qualifications (e.g., IPAF, PASMA, High-Pressure Jet Washing, Compex)
