Salary £19,600 per annum (£100 - £110 per day)

Hours Monday to Thursday 08:15 - 16:00, Friday 08:15 - 15:30, Permanent

The Role

* Work closely with students with SEND, providing tailored 1:1 support

* Assist the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and understood

* Implement EHCPs with creativity and dedication

* Support students during lessons, small group work, and one-on-one sessions—think of yourself as their educational sidekick!

* Help develop social skills and manage behaviour in a positive and nurturing way

You

* Enhanced DBS check (because safety is our top priority)

* Previous experience in a school setting, particularly with SEND students (your experience is priceless!)

* A kind, patient, and flexible attitude with a genuine passion for supporting SEND students

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll be working with lots of different people!

* The ability to work well in a team and take initiative when needed

* Knowledge of strategies and resources to support SEND students (bonus points if you can bring fresh ideas to the table)

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

* GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

* Special education experience – 1 year (preferred)

* Driving Licence (preferred)
