Are you a Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Southend? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility with one of our key NHS clients!

Job Title: Clinical Pharmacists x4 required

Location: Southend

Duration: 6-Month Contract

Schedule: 3, 4, or 5 days per week (9am - 5pm, 30-minute lunch)

Start Date: March 2025

End Date: September 2025

Rate of Pay: £26 - £31 per hour

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join our team as a Clinical Pharmacist and play a key role in improving the lives of patients across various medical wards and the inpatient dispensary. In this role, you will:

Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients across medical wards

Carry out medication reconciliations and provide advice on medication therapy

Dispense medications for inpatients and manage medicine supply

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with NHS regulations

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A current and valid GPhC registration

At least 1 year of post-registration experience in a clinical hospital setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The ability to work independently and as part of a team

A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability from 3, 4, or 5 days per week, with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 6 months, starting in March 2025, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
