Hours - 40 hours Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing:

We are looking for an experienced ER Case Management Specialist to join our Municipal Employee Relations Team on an 8 week contract.

As a Case Manager you will be responsible for guiding and advising line managers in employee relations matters providing specialist advice and solutions in line with current legislation and business processes. Case load will include but not be limited to disciplinary, grievances, Short and Long term sickness absence management, investigations, and capability.

The role will largely be remote with some touch base meetings during the 8 weeks.

What we're looking for:

CIPD or equivalent qualification and by experience. Chartered member of CIPD or working towards this with evidence of continuous professional development.

Previous experience in an ER role within a unionised and regulated environment.

Proven ER experience including advising on complex disciplinary and grievance issues and Absence cases with the ability to apply the relevant legal principles and risk assessment.

Experience of working in a comparable operational environment acting as an ER partner managing complex case work.

Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to interact across all levels of management.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and ability to deliver results to demanding deadlines.
