About the Role:

PK Education are pleased to be working with a fantastic 1-form entry primary school in the heart of Kirkstall, Leeds, to find a dedicated and experienced Year 4 Teacher. This full-time, long-term role is set to start on 24th February 2025, with the possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate.

You will take on full responsibility for a Year 4 class, including planning, teaching, and ongoing assessment. The school is known for its strong sense of community, a nurturing atmosphere, and a commitment to providing an inclusive education for all pupils. While the class is relatively small, the role still requires excellent classroom management skills and an ability to support a range of academic and personal development needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons for Year 4 students.

Plan and assess lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Take part in meetings and collaborate with the teaching team.

Support the social, emotional, and academic development of your pupils.

What We’re Looking For:

An experienced Year 4 teacher with a passion for teaching and learning.

Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a calm, supportive atmosphere.

Experience working with SEND and EAL pupils.

Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire students and meet individual needs.

Team player with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.

A strong commitment to the school’s ethos and working within the local community.
