Job Description

Pembrokeshire County Council is looking for a dedicated and experienced Approved Mental Health Act Practitioner (AMHP) to join our Adult Mental Health and AMHP Team. Based at Bro Cerwyn CMHT, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team committed to delivering high-quality mental health services across the county.

* Location: Pembrokeshire, Wales

* Contract: Full-time, 3 months (Immediate start)

* Rate: £37.00 per hour (Umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct Mental Health Act Assessments (recent experience within the last five years required).

* Respond promptly to assessments in various settings.

* Work collaboratively to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

* Provide regular updates to the Service Manager and Team Manager.

* Be flexible to work beyond standard hours when assessments extend past 17:00.

What We’re Looking For:

* Qualified and experienced AMHP with a current AMHP warrant.

* Registered with Social Care Wales.

* Recent experience conducting Mental Health Act Assessments.

* A person-centered and passionate approach to mental health care.

* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

* Willingness to travel into Pembrokeshire (travel costs reimbursed).
