Our client, a leading consultancy in the rail and highways sector, is currently seeking a Bridge Engineer to join their team in Glasgow on a temp to perm contract.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and assessing various bridge structures using industry-standard software, such as Lusas

Conducting structural analyses and evaluations to ensure the safety and integrity of bridge projects

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil engineering aspects into rail and highway projects

Preparing detailed engineering reports and technical documents

Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations

Participating in site inspections and providing technical support during project implementation

Contributing to the development of innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges

Maintaining and enhancing client relationships through effective communication and project management

Job Requirements:

Experience in bridge and structural engineering within the rail and highways sectors

Proficiency in using Lusas for structural analysis and design

Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices

Ability to produce high-quality technical reports and documentation

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective team collaboration and communication abilities

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
