This major housing regeneration scheme is transforming one of South London’s most significant development sites. With a £290m investment and a bold vision, this project will deliver over 700 new homes, bringing state-of-the-art design and community-focused living spaces. You will oversee the external works for this high-profile regeneration that will reshape the area and deliver exceptional homes for families and individuals.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a seasoned Externals Manager to lead all external works, including facades, roofing, cladding, balconies, and landscaping. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the successful delivery of these elements on a major development, overseeing temporary works and waterproofing systems, ensuring everything is executed with precision and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all external works, including facades, roofing, cladding, balconies, landscaping, temporary works, and waterproofing.

* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

* Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to drive seamless project execution.

* Maintain strict health and safety compliance, ensuring a safe working environment.

* Provide clear and accurate progress reports, keeping all stakeholders informed.

* Take the lead on managing temporary works solutions and waterproofing systems, ensuring their effective implementation.

Ideal Candidate:

* Proven experience as an Externals Manager on large residential or commercial projects.

* Expertise in managing complex external works, including facades, roofing, cladding, landscaping and civils work.

* Solid understanding of temporary works and waterproofing systems.

* Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.

* SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications are desirable.
