Job Title: Interim Estates Surveyor

Contract Duration: 6 months

Location: South East

Daily Rate: £400

Job Description:

A Council in the South East is seeking an experienced Interim Estates Surveyor to join its property team for a 6-month contract. The role primarily focuses on general landlord and tenant (L&T) work, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and managing ongoing property matters. The successful candidate will provide expert advice, assist in negotiations, and contribute to the efficient management of the council's estate.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out lease renewals and rent reviews in accordance with relevant legislation and market conditions.

Provide professional advice on various landlord and tenant matters.

Manage negotiations and ensure timely and effective resolutions.

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure smooth operations of property transactions.

Maintain accurate records of lease agreements and ensure compliance with policies.Requirements:

MRICS qualified (or equivalent) preferred.

Proven experience in general landlord and tenant work, particularly lease renewals and rent reviews.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
