English Graduate Teaching Assistant (English Graduate TA)

Location: Greenwich, London
Salary: £90 - £120 per day
Start Date: Immediately
Contract: Long Term

Are you a recent English graduate with a passion for education and a desire to inspire young minds? GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic English Graduate Teaching Assistant (English Graduate TA) to join our team in Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school setting while making a real difference in students' lives.

Roles of an English Graduate TA:

• Support the delivery of engaging English lessons as an English Graduate TA.
• Assist students in understanding complex literary concepts and improving their reading and writing skills.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with English teachers to prepare lesson materials and resources.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.

What we are looking for:

• A recent degree in English or a related field.
• Passion for English literature and education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
