Job Title: Teaching Assistant specialising in Speech and Language support

TeacherActive are seeking a Teaching Assistant specialising in Speech and Language support in an “Outstanding” SEND School in Dudley for a full time long term position staring March 2025.

Responsibilities:

Helping pupils with speech and language difficulties to communicate effectively

Confidently communicate with learners, using visual and communication aids

Supporting individual pupils or small groups in the classroom

Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and activities

Supporting pupils with their personal care and hygiene needs

Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils

Requirements:

Experience working with children, particularly those with speech and language difficulties

Strong communication skills

Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible in your approach to work

A passion for supporting children to reach their full potential

Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
