Job Title: Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant

Location: Derby (DE21)

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £83.39 - £90 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a well-established and popular local authority maintained nursery school based in Derbyshire where they encourage a happy and secure environment where all members of the school community are valued and respected.

The school is looking to take on a full-time Level 3 Nursery Assistant for the academic year who is enthusiastic about working with children. The successful applicant will help children to learn numeracy and language skills through games, singing and story telling as well as record children's development and share with parents, carers and other staff.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

Level 3 in Teaching Assistant or Childcare (essential)

Extensive experience working with children aged 2 – 5 years

First Aid Qualification (preferred)

Strong behaviour management skills

An awareness of child protection and safeguarding

Knowledge of the EYFS
