Lead SEMH Primary Teacher.

SENCare are seeking a talented and dedicated Lead SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Primary Teacher. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong commitment to supporting children with SEMH needs, fostering an inclusive learning environment and . The position is offered on a permanent basis, with one opening available.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage a team of educators focused on providing support for students with SEMH needs.

* Develop and implement individualized learning plans tailored to the needs of each student.

* Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.

* Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and resilience.

* Work collaboratively with parents, external agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for students.

* Facilitate training and professional development for staff on SEMH strategies and inclusive practices.

* Keep up to date with current research and best practices in SEMH education.

* Ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations related to SEMH education.

* Participate in school leadership meetings and contribute to the overall strategic direction of the school.

Essential Qualifications:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Specialist training or qualification in SEMH or related discipline.

* Strong understanding of the SEN framework and inclusive education practices.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Experience:

* Previous experience in a primary teaching role, preferably within a SEMH context.

* Experience in leading or managing a team of educators.

* Proven track record of improving student outcomes for those with SEMH needs.

* Experience in working collaboratively with parents and external agencies.

Salary & Benefits:

The salary for this position is competitive, will be offered on an annual basis and starts from £50,000.00. Benefits include:
