TeacherActive are thrilled to be working with a unique and successful secondary school in the Torbay area. The school boasts a stimulating and happy learning experience expanding outside of the classroom. They offer an extensive extra-curricular offering, including creative writing, drama productions, Duke of Edinburgh and Ten Tors.

The Senior Leadership Team are looking for a fantastic RE Teacher to join them on a full time basis for a maternity cover post in September. The successful candidate will need to:

Have secure knowledge of the curriculum areas, fostering and maintaining pupils’ interest in the subject

Have a minimum of 6 months experience teaching in a secondary school setting

QTS / Qualified Teacher Status with an RE specialism (ECTs / Early Career Teachers also encouraged to apply)

Promote good and courteous behaviour in accordance with the behaviour policy

Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development
