We are seeking a dedicated Finance Manager to oversee accounting functions and financial reporting within a well known not-for-profit organisation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to the financial health of the organisation while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Description

Oversee all accounting operations

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements

Business partner with key project managers and stakeholders across the UK

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

Support month-end and year-end close process

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Additional duties as necessaryProfile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

An academic background in Accounting or Finance (ACCA/CIMA part qualified or QBE)

Proven working experience in a similar role as a Finance Manager

Importantly year end financial accounting and finance business partnering experience

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

Excellent accounting software user and administration skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skillsJob Offer

A competitive salary in the range of up to £44,000

6 month fixed term contract

Small chance of extension based on workload and performance

Doncaster based with only 2 or 3 days a week required in the office
