Job Description

Defence client is hiring for Contract Network Engineers for the site based in Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria. This role is for an 12+ month Contract, based full-time on site and requires SC Clearance.

Responsibilities include:

- Assist the Network Engineering team with the installation and configurations of devices and software in scheduled change window

- Managed project, collaborating and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Create and maintain detailed network topology diagrams and document.

- Provide support and troubleshoot network-related issues as changes implemented.

Skills Required:

- Palo Alto Firewalls

- Cluster & non clustered firewalls

- Panorama skills

- Cisco ACI

- Hands on Switch upgrades

- Cisco Multi-Site Orchestrator (MSO) & Nexus Dashboard

- Cisco Wireless

- Virtual WLC build/admin/upgrade

- Multi-SSID with separate gateways

- CAPWAP

- Cisco Firepower/ASA
